On Friday October 4, Saturday October 5, and Sunday October 6, the Long Distance Trails Crew will continue the work of rehabilitating the Long Path at the north end of Tallman Mountain. We are building a long, long series of stone steps.
Please come out and join us. You'll be glad you did.
We will meet at public parking lot D in Piermont, NY. The entrance is on Gair Street.
Use these GPS numbers: (41.0404860, -73.9141263), which will take you to the entrance of lot D.
MANDATORY: Bring water, work gloves, snacks for break time and your lunch.
Safety glasses and hard hats are required. Please bring those if you have them. If you do not have your own, safety glasses and hard hats will be provided. Also recommended: long sleeve shirt, long pants and sturdy shoes/work boots.
Required Paperwork: Please complete the Volunteer Service Agreement prior to coming out for the work day.
