I Love My Park Day - Croton

Do you enjoy birds, butterflies, and wildflowers? Would you like to help protect them? Come help our partner remove invasive species from this beautiful park!

No experience necessary, identification and removal training will be provided on site! Please visit our partner's page to register and for specific details on about the workday.

• What to expect: Lop, pull, and dig invasive plants, remove tree-strangling vines, and clean up litter
• Terrain: Flat trailside, sometimes off trail on slope
• Distance/elevation: 0.6 miles each way to fartherst site
• What to bring: Sturdy footwear, long pants, long sleeves, plenty of food and water, and anything additional to keep you comfortable (e.g. rain gear, bug spray, sunscreen, hat, etc.)
• Where to meet: Park roadside on Quaker Bridge Road - look for "Volunteer Park Here" signs
• Rain date: Sunday, May 4th, 2025 10:00 am

Required paperwork: Photos of volunteers may be taken. Please fill out a photo/video release form if you grant permission for these photos to be shared across platforms.
