Trail Structures: Drainage Workshop

Why do we want to get water off of trails, and what are the most useful ways to do so in a given situation? Learn the answers to these questions and more in this informative workshop that will teach you about drainage solutions with fun names like knicks, dips, and waterbars.
- What to expect: Installing a variety of drainage structures while learning about each type of structure and use cases.
- What to bring: Sturdy footwear, layers, lunch, snacks, water, bug spray. Wear long sleeves and pants. Bring gloves, eye protection, and hardhat if you have them. PPE will be provided to those that do not have any.

- Required Paperwork: Please fill out the OPRHP Volunteer Service Agreement before this workshop, selecting "Hudson Highlands."
