Join Trail Conference Board Chair Ken "Barefoot" Posner for a National Trails Day Hike!


Event description: Join us on Saturday, June 6 for a scenic morning hike through Harriman State Park at a relaxed, leisurely pace. We’ll begin at 8:30 a.m. from the Car Pond Mountain Parking Area (White Bar Trailhead) and hike approximately 3.2 miles along a beautiful route ending at Tom Jones Shelter Parking. This is a moderate hike in difficulity with a total evalation gain of 1,291 ft. From there, participants will shuttle* back approximately 1 mile to the starting point.

This outing is designed to be enjoyable and social, with plenty of time to take in the scenery and connect with fellow hikers along the way.

*Important Notes: We will need a few volunteers willing to assist with the shuttle at the end of the hike.
